The Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT) and Nomura Jimusho, Inc., have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding rubber-seed procurement in Thailand as a new joint-research project.
Through our partnership with RAOT, we aim to explore new strategic approaches to rubber-seed procurement and utilization, including applications in biofuels. Our goal is to enhance the livelihoods of rubber farmers and promote environmental considerations. Additionally, we seek to uncover new possibilities toward achieving a decarbonized society, contributing to a sustainable future.
About the Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT):
Established on July 15, 2015, by the merging of 3 governmental organizations comprising of the Rubber Research Institute of Thailand, the Office of the Rubber Replanting Aid Funds, and the Rubber Estate Organization of Thailand, RAOT is a central organization responsible for managing Thailand’s entire rubber industry. It oversees various aspects, including research, replanting, and estate management, to maintain efficiency and competitiveness within Thailand’s rubber sector.
