We will be showcasing high-quality supplier products for pyridine compounds, which have become increasingly difficult to procure recently.

Regarding reductive amination reactions, NaBH₃CN (sodium cyanoborohydride) has faced challenges such as difficulty in mass supply and the risk of by-product hydrogen cyanide. We will introduce 2-Picoline-borane complex, which addresses these issues and offers greater stability than Pyridine-borane complex.

Additionally, we will present methods for reducing esters, carboxylic acids, nitriles, bromides, and other compounds using combinations of NaBH₄ (SBH, sodium borohydride) and other chemicals, which have been well-received at various academic exhibitions. Zinc borohydride, easily prepared from NaBH₄ and zinc chloride, is recognized as a mild reducing agent but can actually reduce carboxylic acids to alcohols under reflux conditions in THF. Similarly, combinations of carboxylic acid activators, such as carbodiimides, with NaBH₄ can also reduce carboxylic acids.
