Exhibition at Japan Process Chemistry Society 2024 Winter Symposium
2024-12-05
We will exhibit at the “Japan Process Chemistry Society 2024 Winter Symposium” held at Act City Hamamatsu, in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, on Friday, December 6, 2024.
Following our participation in this summer’s symposium, we are introducing reduction methods for esters, carboxylic acids, nitriles, and bromides using Sodium Borohydride (NaBH4, SBH) in conjunction with other chemical agents. Zinc borohydride, easily prepared from NaBH4 and zinc chloride and generally recognized as a very mild reducing agent, enables the reduction of carboxylic acids to alcohols under reflux conditions in THF. Additionally, the combination of NaBH4, TMEDA, and Pd(dppf)Cl2 reduces C-Br bonds on aromatic rings to C-H bonds.
At our booth, we are also distributing the latest “Specialty Chemicals Catalog". Of the 130 compounds listed, 63% are not included in the “2024 Edition of 17,524 Chemical Products” published by Chemical Industry Daily News. The catalog is designed for easy searching.
We warmly invite you to visit our booth and look forward to your attendance.
