Announcement of the exhibition at the 33rd Polymer Materials Forum
2024-11-12
Nomura Jimusho, Inc. will exhibit at the 33rd Polymer Materials Forum held at Miyako Messe in Kyoto City from Thursday, November 14 to Friday, November 15, 2024. Our booth number is 26.
In this exhibition, we will showcase ZeMac®, an ethylene-maleic anhydride alternating copolymer with an exceptionally high anhydride content.
In addition to enhanced adhesion at the polymer interface, we will discuss its thixotropic properties, achieved through the formation of branched polymers.
Furthermore, we will also promote Sodium Borohydride (SBH, NaBH4), which received favorable feedback from monomer synthesis researchers at the 73rd Symposium on Macromolecules in Niigata this September.
While SBH is typically known to reduce only aldehydes and ketones, we will introduce reduction methods for esters, carboxylic acids, nitriles, and others through its combination with additives.
We will also distribute the latest “Specialty Chemicals Catalog” at our booth.
Out of the 130 compounds listed, 63% are not included in the 2024 edition of "17524 no Kagaku Shohin" (by The Chemical Daily Co., Ltd.) . Our latest catalog is designed to facilitate easier searchability.
We warmly invite you to visit our booth.
